The pre-2008 engines with a plastic distribution cardr ( casting #090 ) being removed from manufacture, the replacement is now done by a V6 vortec engine with a reworked aluminium distribution cardr to recover the signal of the CPS sensor and thus the good information for injection without heavy modifications of the engine beam for example.
